Navigating mental health and neurodevelopmental pathways can feel overwhelming for families.
Our Learning Support team works closely with healthcare professionals and external agencies to support families through referral processes and ensure educational provision reflects professional recommendations.
A referral may be needed to help a child access specialist services, including diagnostic assessments, therapeutic interventions, clinical support, and medical treatment pathways, where additional assessment or support is required beyond that available within school.

Medication Review Forms play an important role in monitoring the effectiveness of a student's medication and supporting their overall wellbeing. These forms help clinicians gather information about the impact of medication, any side effects experienced, as well as factors such as height, weight and blood pressure. Information provided by both home and school contributes to a more complete picture and supports informed clinical decision-making.
Orleans Park School does not provide formal dyslexia assessments. Families who would like further information about dyslexia, assessment pathways, or available support may find the British Dyslexia Association a helpful source of advice and guidance.
